The UNICEF Seth Koma program is simple and measurable action for children and women. 2006-2010, Seth Koma is implementing in six provinces. Under the frame of reference, the Government and UNICEF will pursue a set of inter-related goals addressing critical stages of the life cycle of the child: a)-Mothers have safe pregnancies and deliveries and healthy newborns; b)- best possible start in life of infant; c)- Children enter schools at the right age of six years; d)- Children are protected from exploitation, abuse, violence, discrimination and other risks; and e)- Youth and adolescents acquire life skills, express their views, participate in the decisions.
