This training aims to share knowledge, skills, ability and confidence in organizing and conducting sub-contract evaluation (SCE) to the provincial champions and contract administration unit M& E officers.
Major contents of the training are government line department sub-contract evaluation; how to use available sub contract documents, reports, and records; in depth interview for data collection; focus group discussion; technique for compilation and summarization of data; report, and case study writing; dissemination of evaluation outcome and follow up.
The training is organized by the NCDD Program Support Team (PST) M&E Unit and part of sub-national M&E capacity development through Champions Development Project of the NCDD supported by UNDP’s Project to Support Democratic Development (PSDD).
According to Mr. Chhoun Bounna, Master Trainer of the NCDD’s Monitoring and Evaluation Unit, after the training, participants have better understood the SCE guideline; methods, techniques, tools for documents reviews, field data collection, data analysis, and how to write sub-contract evaluation report.
“The participants have ability to do evaluation after this training,” he said.
